Bill Nootenboom

As a prior founder, CEO/President, attorney and trusted business advisor, Bill has extensive experience working with founder and family-owned businesses. He is currently interim president of Stout Tanks and Kettles, the leading manufacturer of craft brewing equipment.  He has advised numerous owners and executives in growth strategy, sales and marketing, finance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Bill currently serves on the Board of Directors of Laughing Planet Cafe and has been actively involved in business and community organizations, including the Portland chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Bridlemile School Foundation.  Bill is a former member of the Oregon and Minnesota state bar associations.  Bill has taught Entrepreneurial Finance at the undergraduate and graduate level at the University of Portland and Business Strategy at Portland State University.

Bill received his BA from Carleton College in Northfield Minnesota, and his JD from Lewis and Clark Law School.  In his spare time, Bill enjoys wilderness travel, trail running, back country snowboarding, whitewater rafting and spending time with his wife and three grown children.
